Below that, the characters are deeply passionate and much of the anime (moreso the manga) is focused on the idea of flying and developing the wings with which to do so. I found the manga (which is currently unfinished) much more satisfying, as there is less filler and more action. The series ends on a high note, but leaves much unanswered. The music really makes the series, Skankfunk adds to the animation what The Pillows did to FLCL. Overall, manga is a 9/10 and anime is a 6.5/10. | ||

Kizurue
This is possibly one of my all-time favorite animes. It will make you want to run out, get a pair of skates, and strap a car motor to your ass and see how fast you go.

It seems a bit Jet Grind Radio, but that's about as deep as the actual skating gets.
