Boogiepop Phantom is a little difficult to follow your first time at it but it does one of the better jobs having intertwining stories involving various characters as the show mixes between what points in chronological time the various stories are taking place. Recommended if this sounds like your kind of thing.

I don't really know what my reaction to this series is. It feels like they want you to read the prequel novels to this series to fully understand it.
