| − | This can be a fun show to watch if you happen to be channel surfing and come across it. The first several seasons are particularly good. All 26 episodes of the very first season are now available on Region 1 DVDs, and are at least worth a rent for the nostalgia. Although the action doesn't always compare to more serious anime, the battles in Pokémon have always been surprisingly entertaining and well done.
