Main Description
This is the story of Sora Naegino, a young Japanese woman travelling to the glorious Kaleido Stage in America to become one of its acrobatic performers. At the audition she meets her future rival and current primadonna Layla Hamilton, who isn't terribly impressed by her late arrival and deems her unworthy. Sora, however, isn't a quitter, and decides to work hard and become the true star no matter what.

I had no clue what this would be like when I saw it, but it quickly charmed me with its story of courage and ambition, and its hilarious humour. The potential for cheering people up is only rivalled by Azumanga Daioh.
