I like the custom infobox better than the template, because the template only allows use of "Director/Artist", and Hiroaki Sakurai is only the director; it's innacurate to say that he's the artist behind the show, or even to imply it. I did keep your idea of clarifying what the number "26" represented after the "# of Eps/Volumes" field; even though this is the page for the anime, I suppose that was a bit unclear. I think the artist part exists so the info can apply to mangas as well, for the same reason it says Episodes and Volumes.
