Turn-A Gundam is the one Gundam series I'd give a 5/5 to without any reservations. It may be slow, but if you watch it instead as a serialised Miyazaki film about robots fighting a war which happens to have the odd familiar MS in it, it makes a lot more sense. I loved the mech designs, and the range of settings from an Aztec nation to a turn-of-the-century America through to a Rapture-like moon base.
