Personal Opinions
NeverRamza
It's been awhile since I've seen this so I can't get too detailed but the show has a very nice strong opening. It's an entertaining show with some interesting characters but the show drags out a little too much. I did enjoy it though but I would not consider this a first tier show.

The original Blood: The Last Vampire told more or less the same story in 50 minutes that this series tells in 50 episodes. Yes, there is more detail thanks to the extra run time. No, it isn't worth sitting through 50 episodes worth of it. A decent editor could probably cut the runtime in half without losing any meat, and drastically improving the narrative.

There is a decently cool story being told here, with some particularly enjoyable characters, but it can be difficult to actually get to them through the at times agonizingly slow pace the show hits on more than one occasion. If you can endure the narrative's lapses of focus, it's watchable- a good show to have on in the background or something, not a great one if you want to be engrossed in every second. A real shame.
