Sum it up in a Sentence
A surreal story about a cat that takes his sister on a strange journey in an attempt to restore her memories... or something like that... maybe.
Main Description
Cat Soup is an extremely quirky show. It follows the tale of two cats. Their travels take them from a circus, to a boat with a pig, to a desert, and other strange locations. It relies very little on dialogue. When someone talks, they make weird, unintelligible chirping noises similar to how characters in Banjo-Kazooie speak. Most of the time, we're not even told what is actually being said, but occasionally a little speech bubble will pop up to clue us in. And when this happens it's never more than a few words at a time. Instead, the most important part of the show is the visuals, which are best described as surreal and postmodern. Because of the nature of the show and its short runtime, going into too much detail would end up tarnishing the experience of watching it.
