Main Description
The story starts with Lia de Beaumont floating into Paris in 1742 encased in a coffin with "PSALMS" smeared on it in blood. She doesn't decompose, and her soul is angrily seeking revenge. This series is a great introduction to anime for those who think cartoons are for kids. The plot is rich and complex while rewarding those who know their history at least at the undergraduate level. At least one character will make you raise an eyebrow at his seemingly out of place existence, but it comes together nicely in the end. Highly recommend.
