I really enjoyed the whole series. I found the main character annoying at the start, but I thought he became pretty likable by the end of the first season. Having watched Evangelion, his emo was nothing I couldn't tolerate. I didn't enjoy the plot too much, as it moved slow and had a somewhat unsatisfying ending - what I enjoyed was watching the dolls interact with each other. There is some drama, but mostly I thought the show was very :3 8/10

Rozen Maiden is definitely popular for the wrong reasons, but that doesn't make it a bad show. It's surprisingly enjoyable for the story of a NEET boy with these little magical dolls. The plot was alright, and it had a lot going for it; I think the anime ended it very well, but then again, if you've read the manga's awful non-ending you'll be impressed with any semblance of resolution.
