+ | Wish they'd have produced another season of the anime if not just to get a better look at how serious the competition in the world of Air Gear got, but I honestly don't think it'd be as interesting or fun as covering how Ikki got into this rollerblades-on-steroids world, looking for team members, and the silly gang shit they go through. Makes me want to start a rollerblading gang of my own and plaster my stickers everywhere. Also agreeing with the above that the music makes watching this SO FUN. --[[User:Willsun|Willsun]] 11:08, 25 May 2011 (UTC) | ||

This is possibly one of my all-time favorite animes. It will make you want to run out, get a pair of skates, and strap a car motor to your ass and see how fast you go.
Taisa
It seems a bit Jet Grind Radio, but that's about as deep as the actual skating gets. Below that, the characters are deeply passionate and much of the anime (moreso the manga) is focused on the idea of flying and developing the wings with which to do so. I found the manga (which is currently unfinished) much more satisfying, as there is less filler and more action. The series ends on a high note, but leaves much unanswered. The music really makes the series, Skankfunk adds to the animation what The Pillows did to FLCL. Overall, manga is a 9/10 and anime is a 6.5/10.

Wish they'd have produced another season of the anime if not just to get a better look at how serious the competition in the world of Air Gear got, but I honestly don't think it'd be as interesting or fun as covering how Ikki got into this rollerblades-on-steroids world, looking for team members, and the silly gang shit they go through. Makes me want to start a rollerblading gang of my own and plaster my stickers everywhere. Also agreeing with the above that the music makes watching this SO FUN. --Willsun 11:08, 25 May 2011 (UTC)
