I thought this show was pretty decent for what it was going for. It wasn't amazing, but I'd say it's at least worth a watch. The plot starts a bit slow, but once it gets to the action it's a lot of fun. I wasn't a big fan of the ending, but maybe I just didn't "get" it. Also if it looks like "Noir" it's probably because that it's the same studio and is basically the same idea, but with more psychological weirdness. 3/5 | I thought this show was pretty decent for what it was going for. + | If you liked Noir you will probably love this one as well. For me I thought Noir was average but Madlax feels more polished. The pacing is quite good but towards the middle of the series, the plot takes a turn and could leave you really confused. The action scenes are pretty well animated and Madlax sometimes fight in a dress which is cute in some ways. Give it a shot even if you haven't seen Noir, but overall this is still worth checking out if you like action oriented shows, or have a thing for "girls with guns". Like Noir, the soundtrack is very good as well. | ||

If you liked Noir you will probably love this one as well.
