But the crazy mash-up of art styles really helped ease the pain of the story. + | I mainly checked out this anime because I was on a huge Shaft watch-a-thon. I have to say this is not as bad as people say it is. The jokes in this is not THAT great because it's more bizzare, but there are a still quite a few shining moments in each episode. However the re-occuring jokes does get really old very quick, like that our main character is a huge pervert. The art style and animation is very great and so is the music. You will probably enjoy it if you want some dumb laughs or just want to see a really perverted girl in an all girls school. | ||

Sum it up in a Sentence:
A lesbian transfers to an all girls school and gets a bunch of nose bleeds.
Main Description
Kanako Miyamae transfers to an all girls school hoping to find her new soulmate, but when she thinks she has found the perfect girl, it turns out that this girl is actually a boy with enough power to have her expelled. This results in her constantly being forced into comedic situations. Also she gets nosebleeds. A lot.

ComradeCosmobot
I rather liked it, but then I haven't seen SZS, and apparently it pales in comparison to that, according to others. I think you have to go in expecting flat characters and non-subtle humor, and it'll be alright. (7.5/10)
D13FOOL
I just can't bring myself to like 99% of what Shaft puts out. Sorry. It gives me headaches and it's hard to follow, but it's totally insane like the rest of their shows. 2/5.
linall
I enjoyed this show as an exercise in letting the animation keep me interested rather than the plot/story/what is actually happening in the show. Taken by itself, the story of this would be terrible. I even liked the "get it, she is a despicable pervert" gag they had going on. But the pace of each episode is really slow and only one joke in five is really chuckle worthy.
But the crazy mash-up of art styles really helped ease the pain of the story. Even though not much is going on, the art styles almost violently from line to line and specific ones are used to help raise the impact of the jokes. Kind of like going into chibi when something cute/silly happens. Except, you know, good.
