Completely hilarious and one of the best comedy anime out there. Almost every episode left me laughing. You don't have to watch the first season to enjoy this, as the premise is simple enough to pick up. In fact, the first season is hit and miss enough that I wouldn't recommend it.

I still haven't seen more than maybe two episodes of ''Full Metal Panic'' proper, but this show is entertaining and consistently very funny. It's also a nice change of pace to have two main characters who have every reason in the world to be romantically conflicted. Solid, fast-paced comedy that I'd actually recommend to non-anime fans.

Main Description

Sagara Sousuke, military Specialist from the covert unit Mythril has been assigned to protect a Japanese school girl named Chidori Kaname. Earlier Sousuke had transferred to Chidori's school to protect her and thwarted many terrorist threats. But in the times when there is no threat endangering the world and Chidori, can Sousuke adjust to living a normal, high school life? Signs point to "No."

Based on comedic parts omitted from the first season, and various other short stories from the FMP! novels, Kyoto Animation presents a new take on the trials and trepidations of Sousuke and Chidori.

If you liked the comedic high school parts of the first season of Full Metal Panic, you'll love this. It takes that and ramps it up a thousand times. A very energetic comedy that does not rely on viewers seeing the first series; in fact, I feel it can easily serve as an introduction to the FMP universe.

Dan a man

I watched this after a friend recommended it to me. And now I'm passing the recommendation along to the rest of ADTRW. I've never seen the main FMP series and I still fully enjoyed Fumoffu. In fact, I plan to start watching FMP because of this series.
