This anime is an explosion of hilarity and pure awesome. It easily breaks the Excel Saga level of references and had a great animation style. My favorite types of shows are ones that prody the other styles of anime and this is a shining example. Never a dull moment and always pumping out the jokes and refrences. Just go watch this. Now. Sum it up in a Sentence
A genius child-teacher takes up a position teaching a group of ADD, ADHD, immature or just downright weird bunch of students (also there are aliens, bunnies, and a cat who lives in a soda machine who calls himself god).
Main Description
At heart a total parody anime. It's no exaggeration to say that there is some reference every 10 seconds. Many are of things in our culture but alot are also of a Japanese origin. Despite that this show retains a great humor that pleases all. You may find yourself watching the eps two or three times just to catch all the references and eye candy within them.
The main plot line of this show is of Rebecca Miyamoto, an MIT graduate just 11 year old, who came to Japan to teach High School and got stuck with the energetic rowdy class 1-C. The bulk of the series takes place at Peach Moon Academy and centers around the classes 1-A through D. Though the classes take many trips outside of the school to exotic and mundane locales.
Characters
There are a metric buttload of characters and I don't have the patience right now. Someone can do this at their leisure or wait for me to do it.
Rebecca Miyamoto
A child prodigy. Entered M.I.T. at the age of 9 and left at 10 with a triple major. Now, for whatever reason, she came to Japan to teach High School at Peach Moon Academy. Referred to as Becky by her students. A genius is every aspect of the term but still a child and show as much whenever faced with difficult tasks or confrontation with her students. She is prone to hiding behind a curtain whenever scared and emitting what her students call "Becky's hau hau"
Mesousa
The mascot character/butt monkey of the show, Mesousa is a depressed talking rabbit who simply can't catch a break whether he's trying to get a soda from a vending machine or trying not to complain when a live bomb is placed on his head.
Himeko Katagiri
Ditz with an ahoge who shouts "maho" a lot. Mahomahomahomahomaho~
Ichijou
A unique oddball who somehow manages to stand out in a classroom full of freaks, geeks and idiots. Her face is drawn differently than the rest of the cast, and she seems to have some kind of strange reality-warping power that either contributes to the joke or makes things worse for the class.
Kurumi Momose
A "normal" girl and one of the few sane people in the show.
Sayaka Suzuki
They call her "Number 6" a lot.
Rei Tachibana
Second-smartest girl in the class, somehow able to enforce order in the classroom and can even put the fear of God into Becky on occasion.
Miyako Uehara
Short-tempered smart girl with a giant forehead that is so shiny it can somehow reflect the sun's rays.
Behoimi
MAGICAL GIRL...well, sort of.

Golden315
This anime is an explosion of hilarity and pure awesome. It easily breaks the Excel Saga level of references and had a great animation style. My favorite types of shows are ones that prody the other styles of anime and this is a shining example. Never a dull moment and always pumping out the jokes and refrences. Just go watch this. Now. Snapalope
This anime does indeed deliver in its humor and style. There are a ton of references and each episode has a ton of jokes that are really well written which never fails to make you laugh. Even if you don't get most of the references it's still very enjoyable or you have the option to turn on video notes on to explain the jokes. Just an extra note, the dub for this is really well done, you could potentially watch through this series in dubbed form. Although I liked the Japanese voices just a tiny bit more.
