Like with the other two entries in Bee Train's girls-with-guns trilogy it has a good story with some interesting mystic elements thrown in, however I would have liked more action. The soundtrack is by Yuki Kajiura and is naturally very good.

If you liked Bee Train's previous works in the girls with guns trilogy, you will like this one as well.  El Cazador de la Bruja does feel different than its predecessors, because there's more comic relief mixed in and it works pretty well with the show's atmosphere.  Overall it's still enjoyable despite toning down the amount of action scenes. Like Madlax and Noir, El Cazador de la Bruja does sport a pretty awesome soundtrack.

If you like to watch this in English, the dub is not bad. The cast put in a pretty commendable effort into this.
