This show is bipolar on a massive level. Half the fun of watching it is the serious case of mood whiplash it will give you. It also makes it pretty hard to tell if it's trying to be an actual parody or just another harem fanservice show. All in all, it's still pretty entertaining and just unique enough to warrant watching over any other run-of-the-mill harem show.

Is it a parody? Yeah, kind of. Is it a bad show? Yeah, kind of. It's a harem show that unashamedly does what harem shows do, while making fun of the typical harem bullshit. It has some fantastic scenes (every single fight), and they just throw the dial to 11 on everything they do... but that of course includes the absolutely abysmal plot that takes about one third of the runtime. Watching the show week to week, the mood whiplash is just ridiculous--I could say 'this was amazing' and then think 'this episode could have literally just not happened and we'd all be happier'. I guess I'd recommend it if you're looking for a bit of comedy, but I can't really say it's a good show. You probably have better things to watch.

Show had a lot of potential, but failed to deliver. There was too much focus on generic harem antics and lame melodrama. If it had just focused on comedy, it would have been a pretty good series, but I am going to have recommend against watching this. Just watch Seto No Hanayome instead, it has the same type of humor without all the lame elements.

IShallRiseAgain

Show had a lot of potential, but failed to deliver. There was too much focus on generic harem antics and lame melodrama. If it had just focused on comedy, it would have been a pretty good series, but I am going to have recommend against watching this. Just watch Seto No Hanayome instead, it has the same type of humor without all the lame elements.
