Cat Soup is an extremely quirky show. It follows the tale of two cats. Their travels take them from a circus, to a boat with a pig, to a desert, and other strange locations. It relies very little on dialogue. When someone talks, they make weird, unintelligible chirping noises similar to how characters in Banjo-Kazooie speak. Most of the time, we're not even told what is actually being said, but occasionally a little speech bubble will pop up to clue us in. And even then, the bubble contains either a picture or no more than a few words. Instead, the most important part of the show is the visuals, which are best described as surreal and postmodern.
