I like the custom infobox better than the template, because the template only allows use of "Director/Artist", and Hiroaki Sakurai is only the director; it's innacurate to say that he's the artist behind the show, or even to imply it. I did keep your idea of clarifying what the number "26" represented after the "# of Eps/Volumes" field; even though this is the page for the anime, I suppose that was a bit unclear. Also, I'm pretty sure this show *is* an I.G work, and not madhouse: http://www.productionig.com/contents/works_sp/07_/

I think the artist part exists so the info can apply to mangas as well, for the same reason it says Episodes and Volumes. I did notice though that this template looks weird on mangas (for example Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou) so maybe we should make a separate infobox for each? --Raezr 08:45, 21 January 2007 (CET)
