The second installment of Bee Train's girls-with-guns trilogy opens in the war-torn country of Gazth-Sonika, where there is a mercenary with no memories past twelve years ago who goes only by the name Madlax. Seemingly unrelated Margaret Burton is a wealthy little girl in another country who was in a plane crash 12 years ago which killed her Mother and left her father missing, but she mysteriously made it home forgetting everything except the name Madlax. Both begin investigating an evil corporation known as Enfant which eventually leads them to discoveries about their past and the intentions of Enfant.

Personal Opinions
Scruffy the janitor
I thought this show was pretty decent for what it was going for. It wasn't amazing, but I'd say it's at least worth a watch. The plot starts a bit slow, but once it gets to the action it's a lot of fun. I wasn't a big fan of the ending, but maybe I just didn't "get" it. Also if it looks like "Noir" it's probably because that it's the same studio and is basically the same idea, but with more psychological weirdness. 3/5
