Personal Opinions
Redcrimson
For a shounen anime, Scryed boasts an interesting and well-constructed premise as well as a fairly well-paced story. The fight scenes are dynamic and visually impressive. However, this is all completely overshadowed by Scryed's soulless one-dimensional characters who do little more than scream the same four or five lines of dialogue at each other for 20+ episodes. In the end, Scryed squanders what could have been a fun and interesting look into social inequality, the merits of freedom, nationalism and government corruption and delivers merely an above-average shounen brawlfest with cool robots.
