Sum it up in a Sentence:
ARIA follows a group of young women working as gondoliers on a future Mars covered in water, as they enjoy life and experience the changing seasons and accompanying social events.
Main Description
On the planet Aqua lies the watery city of Neo Venezia, a tourist hub in which people travel around in gondolas. Akari Mizunashi is a gondolier in training and also an employee of Aria Company. She gets to meet all sorts of people as she takes them on the gondola rides, from friendly mentors to special individuals, all this admidst the beautiful scenic backdrop of the entire city.
Note: The Japanese manga was first published in two volumes under the name AQUA (1-2), after which (for reasons unknown) it changed name to ARIA yet continued as volume "1", which may be confusing.

Aria the Origination: A perfect ending to a great series. I don't think people who say nothing happens in Aria really watched it. Since one of the main themes is change; the main character were constantly growing and learning. Drama doesn't have to be shoved down your throat to be there. 10/10

Gotta disagree with Guyver's opinion here and say that honestly nothing really happens in this show. I wouldn't say that this is necessarily bad though, you just shouldn't really expect anything exciting from this show. Aria portrays a world where nothing bad happens and no evil can exist. I'd say it's pretty boring, but in a somehow entertaining way. Not the best show, but you can do worse than watching it.
