Sum it up in a Sentence:
Inspired by a magic show she saw when she was young, a girl goes to a magic school.
Main Description
Akko has been fascinated with magic from the moment she had seen her first magic show. Now, she is enrolling into Luna Nova Magic School, a famous school for magic in Europe. However, contrary to her expectations, she is finding that lessons are boring. Magic lessons are staid and conservative, and not at all exciting.
One day, an emergency occurs which threatens to destroy the school, and it is up to Akko to save the day!

Personal Opinions
Unpronounceable
Hot off of the awesome insanity that is Inferno Cop, Trigger follows up with another fantastic show. The whole thing is very whimsical, cute, and most importantly fun. The art is pretty removed from typical anime character designs, and that really works in the show's favour. The real star of the show, though, is the animation. It is wonderfully fluid, and it's great to see such great work from new animators.
When I watched it, I had a grin on my face the whole time, and I highly recommend it to anyone, unless you hate fun.

I watched this after hearing a lot of praise about the incredibly dynamic and fluid animation, and I'm happy to say it was entirely justified. Academia is an incredibly fun experience and should be entertaining to just about anyone. It won't win many points for an original setting, but the characters and the overall incredibly feel good plot more than make up for it. Not many better ways to spend 25 minutes.
