Main Description
Yukihara Soma is a rising cook that worked for his father's famous restaurant until his father (temporarily) closed shop to work as the main chef in a famous hotel in New York. The money to be earned aside, his father also told Yukihara that he could never seek to surpass him unless Yukihara stepped out of his father's shadow at their restaurant and graduated from a prestigious culinary school. Emboldened by his father's challenge, Yukihara enrolls himself at the elite Tootsuki Culinary Academy. There, Yukihara demonstrates his creative genius and optimistic attitude in the face of fierce competition to pass the academy's challenges, and quickly earns himself the admiration and scorn of both classmates and administrators alike. As Yukihara works toward his dream of one day surpassing his father, he gains friends that want to see him succeed, as well as enemies who want to see him humiliated.
Most of the story revolves around food battle challenges. Also, watch out for all the boobs being thrown around since the artist is known for having drawn porn before.

Willsun
It's very similar in style to Yakitate!! Japan's format of saving someone's store or ranking up in tournaments through Iron Chef-like food battles. While predictable, it's fun to read about delicious food and all the crazy super dishes they make that you'll probably never get to eat. This is rife with fanservice whenever there are girls around, so if that annoys you, you should probably read something else. Otherwise, if you like some food porn, get in.
