In 1972, a very popular honor student named Misaki died partway through the school year in Yomiyama North Middle School's class 3-3. The rest of the students, devastated by the unexpected loss, decided to carry on as if their classmate were still alive, going so far as to keep the desk in place and bringing it to the graduation ceremony. Yet no one could explain why their classmate, already dead and buried, was present on the graduation photo.

I really enjoyed this series. The first 3 episodes are excellent in the way they create that feeling of uneasiness, and when the curse hits, boy does it hits hard. While some people could think that the rest of the series is just a succession of Final Destination like deaths without much interest, the way the plot leaves us guessing by constantly throwing us false leads is nicely done. The animation is good, if nothing to write home about and the OP by ALI Project is perfectly appropriate for this sort of series.
