One day, mysterious pretty boy classmate Yuki Sohma invites her to live with him and his cousins Shigure and Kyo in one of his family's many homes. Soon she becomes entrusted with helping the Sohmas keep their family secret: every generation, thirteen of their family members are "possessed" by the spirits of the animals of the Chinese zodiac, causing them to transform when embraced by a member of the opposite sex. Personal Opinions

OldTimeyProspector

Frutis Basket is cute and girly as fuck, and it's full of endless shots of bishonen looking sparkly and/or angsty. That said, it's also a darn good series. The characters are fun and interesting, the comedy's funny, and the romantic/dramatic elements are engaging. The art's nice enough to look at, and the sizable cast is just diverse enough for everyone to have a favorite character (the only correct answer is Shigure) without getting too bogged down by countless new faces and complex webs of relations. Both the manga and the show are nice, although they do diverge a bit, and the anime covers less than half of the manga, not including the ending. So if you do watch the anime, you'll have to pick up the 15 some odd remaining volumes to finish the story.
