Main Description
Masato Akitsu is a 15 year old boy who is one day kidnapped by a secret organization. He is told that he is a test tube baby, born solely to pilot Zeorymer, an enormously powerful giant robot. Masato must fight against Hau Dragon, an organization dedicated to conquering the world, and their seven mecha all based on the elements. Meanwhile, Masato must also solve the mystery of his weird homicidal split personality that he suddenly developed after beginning to pilot Zeorymer.

Zeorymer is a guilty pleasure of mine. Every episode can be reduced to "enemy of the episode works up some plan to defeat Zeorymer, gets all fired up about it, then is steamrolled by Zeorymer because Zeorymer is just ridiculously overpowered", none of the main characters are fleshed out or sympathetic in any way, the plot is kind of dumb even for a super robot anime (not to mention a complete trainwreck), and the conclusion is generally unsatisfying. Despite all that, I still enjoy it for how stupid it is. It's bad, but in an entertaining sort of way. There is about half of a good show in there somewhere, it could have been a genuinely good show if some plot elements were introduced earlier and the main characters were fleshed out better.
