I thought this was pretty awesome, having only seen the first four parts for the longest time (I think those were the only ones released before this DVD movie of it all came out). For those of you not in the know, Interstella5555 is a collection of Daft Punk music videos for the Discovery album, and it tells an hour long story. It has character designs by Leiji Matsumoto, and I think that this combined with Daft Punk music is enough reason to check it out. 8/10

Pink Floyd has laser light shows, Daft Punk has Interstella 5555. Slight correction: It's basically the full Discovery album set to music, and the pieces surrounding specific songs were later cut out to create music videos. The movie features very little in the way of sound, basically just putting visuals to the music. It's an interesting project that I'd recommend to anyone, but for Daft Punk fans all you need to know is that it's a pretty decent anime feature set to the Discovery album. Why haven't you watched this? (Also, do consider using your favorite recreational products to enhance the experience, much like a laser light show).
