I decided to watch School Rumble on a whim a few days ago and ended up getting through both seasons and all but one ova in about four days. I watched it with the english dub and I have to say its probably got the best dub Ive heard before (I dont think I wouldve enjoyed it nearly as much in Japanese). All the voice actors were pretty damn good, especially Harima and Hanai, and the show overall was incredibly funny and I even enjoyed the serious parts when they involved Harima, whenever other people were involved I didnt enjoy it as much though. Im glad I decided to check it out though since now its pretty much my favorite anime and I bet Ill watch it again at some point.

This is a pretty darn good show. Lots of comedy and gags and a nice little bit of seriousness sprinkled throughout. Having seen both the original Japanese audio and the English dub I prefer the dub. I feel it adds more life and color to the show and the voice actors really have some enthusiasm and you can really hear it. I consistently watch episodes from this still since it stays funny, the supporting characters are numerous, and it really keeps a decently fast pace so you're never waiting for more X of Z. Unless its Hanai. You can always have more Hanai.

I watched the first season of this on a whim, partly because this type of the stuff is not what I enjoy watching and I mostly ignore this type of stuff. I have to say, the show does stay consistently funny throughout, and each episode does offer a lot of laughs. Every character is very well presented and their crazy antics will keep you guessing. I checked out the dub as well because the two previous posters above said good things about it, and I have to say that the dub is very good as well; Although, Yu Kobayashi's Lala sounds funnier in Japanese despite the fact that the character is from Mexico... I also checked out a few episodes of the second season, and this is where I found a major flaw in the show; Everything gets old it feels like the show is just throwing the same old jokes at you again and again. I would recommend checking out the first season though.
