Main Description
In Japan's peaceful Edo era, a tournament is held in which the combatants wield real swords, instead of wooden practice swords. Among those competing are the one-armed Fujiki Gennosuke and the blind Irako Seigen, both students of the great Iwamoto Kogan. The series flashes back to their youth and training, telling the story of their dojo, their master, and why they want to kill each other. They kill some other people in the telling. Okay, a lot of other people. Basically everybody.

Just finished watching this. Honestly, I'm fucking confused as to what was going on the entire time. The fight scenes were cool, but the story was very lacking. (2/5)
Clanpot Shake
I completely disagree with Komrade. The story was excellent and the fight scenes only supported it. One of the most unique animes I've seen. (4.5/5)
