Yes, it's basically a shonen show, but that doesn't stop it from being entertaining.. The story involves both elements of science and magic, and it's pretty good. The plot was disjointed and often stupid. New characters appeared every couple of episodes, took center stage for a bit and were then relegated to a bit part if they appeared afterwards at all. The setting seemed somewhat promissing and I rather liked Index, but in the end it was a pretty bad show. 2/5
