Main Description
The energetic Raimon middle schooler Endou Mamoru really loves soccer. It's too bad that the rest of his team doesn't really care as much. Initially four members short of a full team, only Endou really believes his team will take part in the Football Frontier, a big time middle school-level soccer tournament in Japan. Well, that all changes when one Gouenji Shuuya, a person who inadvertently showed his soccer prowess to Endou, transfers to Raimon. Although Endou's repeated attempts to get Gouenji to join have all been foiled, Gouenji's presence at Raimon has attracted the attention of Teikoku Academy, a school with a really good soccer team as well as a habit of completely destroying the campuses of the schools they defeat. In order to coax Gouenji into assimilating, Teikoku sends a "friendly" practice match request to Raimon. To better meet this request, Endou tries to enlist three other members all while trying in vain to convince Gouenji to join. Things happen and Endou gets four members to form a full team against Teikoku and Gouenji eventually joins the Raimon soccer team for keeps. However many teams far more over-the-top than Teikoku all lay in wait for Raimon...
