Sum it up in a Sentence:
A completely over the top dramatization of the events of the Sengoku period. PUT YA GUNS ON!!
Main Description
The Sengoku (Warring States) period: a bloody time of war in Feudal Japan fought between warring fiefs across Japan. Many generals fought for power during the period, but one stood above the others in sheer infamy: Oda Nobunaga, the self declared Demon King of the Sixth Heaven. Nobunaga's ambition draws generals to rally together to defeat his reign, including the burning Sanada Yukimura and the cool Date Masamune. They are ready to party. Their guns are put on.

Zorak
Oh man, Sengoku Basara. So over the top. It's pretty accurately described as DBZ meets Code Geass with swords. Samurai have crazy mid-air sword fights that cause nuclear explosions before they land on their horses (horses which have MOTORCYCLE HANDLEBARS and EXHAUST PIPES fuck yeah!!!) It's not a serious series at all, everything is ridiculous, but for what it is, that ridiculousitude is AMAZING.
