Personal Opinions
Annointed
I found this to be an incredibly enjoyable show. The tank designs were faithful and accurate and the tank fights were well thought out. Also the Russian girls all sing Katyusha in actually decent Russian.
Amstrad
Take a heaping portion of the cute girls doing cute things genre add a scoop of sports anime and a dash of military equipment fetishism and you end up with a surprisingly palatable dish. While the cute girls never devolve into fan-service vehicles, (it's notable that there's not once a panty shot) we are plagued by the prerequisite bath and beach episodes. This is more than made up for solid comedy paired with exciting if not 100% accurate battles between a variety of WWII era tanks. The action and tank variety is probably where the the series shines most and there's plenty here for military buffs to enjoy.
