Sum it up in a Sentence
Young Punpun, his friends and family deal with the brightest and darkest sides of life, love, and any number of existential crises in this surreal slice of life story.
Main Description
Punyama Punpun, a normal young boy depicted as a strange caricatured bird-thing in an otherwise hyper-realistically rendered world goes through all the trials of adolescence, struggling through problems at home with his dysfucntional family, with his love life, and with his friends. He turns occasionally to a very sarcastic God and constantly inward to his own neurotic fears as he sorts through everyday worries and life-changing events.

Personal Opinions
Grenadier
The surreal nature that the eccentric but extremely relatable characters and events of this manga are depicted with make for one hell of an addictive and engrossing read. Far and away my favorite work by Asano barring some apocalyptic derail from the awesome track before it's completion.
Zorak
Incredible all the way to the end. Something that needs to be experienced.
