Main Description
Based on a semi-autobiographical novel by Akiyuki Nosaka. Seita and his younger sister Setsuko lose their mother in a bombing raid and are forced to move in with their aunt. As the war rages on, their aunt becomes increasingly bitter about having to care for them. Tired of being treated like burdens, the siblings leave and move into an abandoned bomb shelter hoping to make it through the war without having to rely on others.

Night Gaunt
This is an excellent movie that everyone should see at least once. It's best to watch this movie with friends for emotional support. You'll also need at least a dozen boxes of tissue because you WILL cry yourself to sleep.
