Sum it up in a Sentence:

An older sister watches her sister and three friends do cute things and hang out.

Main Description

Mainly taking place in the Ito household, Nobue is the older sister slacker that watches over her younger sister Chika and her other three friends do stuff and pass the time. Chika is studious and is often the more sensible and "straight-man" character while her classmate/neighbor/friend Miu is loud, obnoxious, and likes pulling pranks. They eventually meet Matsuri, a shy and naive girl one year younger. Through Matsuri, they meet a foreigner British girl, Ana, who's the same age as Matsuri and is proud of her European heritage while being deathly embarrassed that she is ironically more Japanese at heart than any of the other characters. Their conversations and activities resulting from everyday observations with each other serves as the springboard for the comedy found in the series.

Personal Opinions

Willsun

This series leans more heavily on the slice of life aspect of situational comedy series. Sometimes when hilarity or slapstick isn't ensuing, they're simply making feel-good remarks about life. Don't get me wrong though, it's not like this show is about nothing, but if slice of life bores you, you probably wouldn't want to watch this. They do go on some adventures and the pacing should keep your interest. It's not as bad as the second (and possibly third) season of Minami-ke though where the direction was terrible. This show is definitely tolerable compared to Minami-ke: Okawari. Worth a watch if you want something light and makes you kinda d'awww at times. Another good thing is that it's not creepy beyond Nobue wanting them to wear cat ears one time (oh Japan). --Willsun 11:23, 10 May 2011 (UTC)

PotU

Strawberry Marshmallow is not the best there is, but it's certainly watchable. One problem is that while most of the show is harmless, there are sometimes scenes that are pretty damn creepy, especially since this show is about girls who are about ten or so years old. It never really gotten to the point where I wanted to quit watching it (except for one of the encore episodes, so be careful with those, I guess), so if you're used to anime doing dumb stuff like that, there's no need to worry. All in all its a pretty cute show with some funny scenes (mostly those involving Ana and Matsuri) and if you're into slice of life stuff, you should at least give it a try. If you're not, then I doubt this is really what you are looking for.
