Main Description

Three homeless in Tokyo on Christmas Eve stumble upon a baby in the trash. Gin, a middle-aged alcoholic, Hana, a trans woman, and Miyuki, a teenage runaway, resolve to find the baby's parents. What follows is a series of comedic, dramatic, heartwarming, and often miraculous events as the trio try to overcome all obstacles both external and internal in their search for a happy ending on Christmas.

Nate RFB

Though lacking many of Satoshi Kon's psychological themes, Tokyo Godfathers still contains Kon's excellent use of atmosphere and often bitter social commentary. This is a great Christmas film for the whole family.
