Main Description
Lupin and Jigen are fresh off of a huge heist, when Lupin realizes that all the stolen money is fake, but of such high quality even the casino hadn't noticed. He recalls that he once attempted to hunt down the source of these legendary "Goat bills" back when he was just starting out as a thief, but it nearly cost him his life. Having nothing better to do, Lupin and Jigen decide to get their Goat, and head off to the Eastern-European-ish country of Cagliostro.
Once there, Lupin and Jigen find a young girl being pursued by thugs. They soon discover that she is the country's fair Princess Clarisse, and that the men were sent by the mustache-twirling Count, who's obsessed with finding the lost ancient treasure of Cagliostro. Lupin then decides that he's going to do what he does best: be totally awesome.

Lupin III's been around forever, despite being a corny-looking Jerry Lewis knockoff, and that's because he is awesome. Lupin adventures are always packed with ridiculous set ups and a ton of action, and this movie is certainly no exception. On top of that, it's a Miyazaki movie, so it's utterly gorgeous. Even if you know nothing about Lupin, this movie is a great standalone story, and really, you should just watch it.
