General
Dude's made a ton of movies and they all rule. He's best known for his many films made with Studio Ghibli, which he co-founded. A common misconception is that he directs every Ghibli movie. This is not so, just for the record, but he does tend to work on most in some way, such as producer or screenwriter.
He's got a son who's following in his footsteps, but his first film, Tales From Earthsea hasn't been received too well.
